Japan to lift COVID-19 emergency on Thursday: Suga

Japan will end its COVID-19 state of emergency in Tokyo and 18 prefectures on Thursday, as well as the quasi-state of emergency in other areas, Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga said on Tuesday.
