Southwest China's Jiuzhaigou Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its waterfalls, forests and plateau lakes, reopens today (September 28) after a magnitude-7 earthquake forced its closure in 2017. According to tourism officials, the scenic spot has been restored to its pre-earthquake status.
