EMA says possible link between J&J vaccine, rare VTE

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) said on Friday there is a possible link to rare cases of venous thromboembolism (VTE) with the COVID-19 vaccine Janssen made by Johnson & Johnson.

The VTE was included in the risk management plan for vaccine Janssen as a safety concern to be investigated, said EMA in a statement.
