October 1 is China's National Day, when people celebrate the anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Events are being held across the country. One important ceremony was the raising of the flag in Tiananmen Square in Beijing. People from all walks of life gathered there for the solemn moment. Chinese people enjoy a seven-day holiday that runs through October 7. CGTN's Sun Ye has more from Beijing.
