Al Ittihad , the national newspaper of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), published an article signed by China Media Group (CMG) President Shen Haixiong, congratulating the opening of the pandemic-deferred Expo 2020 Dubai on Friday.

Noting the expo will become an important window for the UAE to showcase diversified economic developments, innovative technologies progress, and prosperous cultures, Shen hoped it will provide an important platform for the world to discuss sustainable economic and social development in the post-epidemic era.

As the event's sole official Chinese media outlet, CMG will launch a series of programs, covering the opening and closing ceremonies of the Expo, themed activities, exhibition areas, gorgeous shows and influential guests, presenting an immersive experience to the audience with new technologies of VR and AR, Shen said.
