Brazil's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Thursday that investigations into the attack committed against the Consulate General of China in Rio de Janeiro are being carried out, adding that every effort will be made to bring the offender to justice.

The attack happened on September 16 when a man threw an explosive at the consulate general, causing damage to some buildings but no injuries.
