Tom Brady (#12) was not in his best form in Sunday's game against the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium. He completed only 23 of 44 passes for 269 yards and no touchdowns (TDs). However, the 44-year-old still has enough reasons to celebrate: First, the Buccaneers won; second, Brady surpassed former New Orleans Saints quarterback (QB) Drew Brees (80,358 yards) to become the NFL's career passing yards leader after connecting with Mike Evans in the first quarter. The Patriots had a chance to change the result of this close game, but Nick Folk's 56-yard field goal attempt hit the left crossbar. /CFP

The Kansas City Chiefs put an end to their two-game losing streak with a sweet victory over the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday. Patrick Mahomes (#15) threw for five TDs, connecting with three different players. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid claimed his 100th win with Kansas City, becoming the first NFL coach to achieve 100+ wins with two separate teams. The other team was the Eagles, where Reid won 140 games. /CFP

The New York Jets pocketed their first win of the season, edging over the Tennessee Titans at MetLife Stadium on Sunday. The Jets' defensive group sacked Ryan Tannehill (C) seven times. Their rookie QB, Zach Wilson, passed for two TDs. Titans placekicker Randy Bullock missed a 49-yard field goal before the game was dragged into overtime. Jets placekicker Matt Ammendola later sealed the win for New York with a 22-yard field goal. /CFP

The other team from the "Big Apple," the New York Giants, also won their first game of the season by beating the New Orleans Saints at the Caesars Superdome on Sunday. The Giants trailed 21-10 in the first quarter but Daniel Jones (#8) sounded the clarion call for counterattack by connecting with Saquon Barkley on a 54-yard TD. Jones passed for a career-high 402 yards in Sunday's game. Barkley scored on a 6-yard rushing TD in overtime. /CFP

Led by Myles Garrett, the Cleveland Browns' defensive line again showed its dominance against the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday. Garrett contributed one-half of the team's two sacks and four hits on Kirk Cousins (#8). The Vikings scored a TD early in the game but failed to even attempt a field goal in the next 11 offensive possessions. /CFP

Carson Wentz (#2) avoided his eighth straight loss – starting from his last four games with the Eagles last season – and helped the Indianapolis Colts escape a 0-4 start in the new season. He found Mo Alie-Cox for two TDs, while Jonathan Taylor rushed for 100+ yards against the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday. /CFP

The Dallas Cowboys rushed for 245 yards in Sunday's game against the league's No. 1 rushing defense of the Carolina Panthers at AT&T Stadium. Ezekiel Elliott (#21) contributed 143 yards to the total as well as one TD for the Cowboys. Dallas QB Dak Prescott threw for only 188 yards, but completed four passing TDs. The Panthers could have performed better if Sam Darnold had not thrown two interceptions and been sacked five times. /CFP

The Chicago Bears improved on the ground as they rushed for 188 yards against the Detroit Lions at Soldier Field on Sunday. Bears QB Justin Fields completed 11 of 17 passes for 209 yards and threw one interception. It wasn't a top-notch performance, but still a vast improvement compared to the beginning of his rookie season. /CFP

The Buffalo Bills seem to be allergic to watching their opponents to score. They allowed nothing against the Dolphins (35-0) on September 19 and kept the Houston Texans scoreless at Highmark Stadium on Sunday. Four Bills players made interceptions in the game, which explains why the Texans only finished with 109 yards and six first downs. Texans QB Davis Mills got no more than 87 yards. By contrast, Josh Allen (#17) passed for 248 yards and threw for two TDs for the Bills. /CFP

Taylor Heinicke traveled home at Atlanta on Sunday and helped the Washington Football Team beat the Atlanta Falcons, connecting with J.D. McKissic (#41) for a 30-yard game-winning TD in the last minute at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Heinicke completed 23 of 33 passing attempts and threw for three TDs, two of which came in the last four minutes. /CFP

Neither Aaron Rodgers nor Ben Roethlisberger was in their best form in Sunday's game between the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers at Lambeau Field on Sunday. Fortunately for the Packers, Randall Cobb (#18) turned two of Rodgers' passes into TDs, making sure that they were the winners at home. The Steelers have lost three in a row following their season-opening victory and failed to score more than 17 points in any of them. /CFP

The Baltimore Ravens claimed their third consecutive win after beating the Denver Broncos at Empower Field on Sunday. Lamar Jackson (#8) threw for 316 yards, including a 49-yard TD to Marquise Brown. The Broncos watched their three-game winning streak come to an end. Both Drew Lock and Teddy Bridgewater were disappointing on the field. /CFP

Russell Wilson (#3) passed for two TDs as the Seattle Seahawks defeated the San Francisco 49ers at Levi's Stadium on Sunday. The 49ers lost starting QB Jimmy Garoppolo in the first half and had to replace him with Trey Lance. However, the 21-year-old rookie from North Dakota State University connected with Deebo Samuel for two TDs and threw no interceptions. /CFP

The Arizona Cardinals pocketed a dominant win over the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium on Sunday. Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (#1) threw for 268 yards and two TDs. One of them found A.J. Green for 41 yards. Chase Edmonds rushed for 120 yards, while James Conner rushed for two TDs. Rams QB Matthew Stafford threw for 280 yards and two TDs, but allowed one interception, failing to lead the Rams to their fourth consecutive win. /CFP
