The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) restored all communication lines with South Korea on Monday morning. DPRK top leader Kim Jong Un announced the decision last Thursday. The South Korean government expressed hope for resumption of inter-Korean talks after the communication lines were restored.
