The latest round of talks between China and the U.S. concluded in Zurich on October 6. Member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs Yang Jiechi said China opposes defining China-U.S. relations as "competitive."
