The Chinese mainland recorded 25 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, all imported, data from the National Health Commission showed on Thursday.

In addition, 11 new asymptomatic cases were recorded, while 357 asymptomatic patients remain under medical observation.

The Chinese mainland now has a total of 96,335 confirmed cases, with the death toll remaining at 4,636.

The latest tally of confirmed cases in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan region is as follows:

Hong Kong: 12,243 (11,935 recoveries, 213 deaths)

Macao: 75 (64 recoveries)

Taiwan: 16,267 (13,742 recoveries, 844 deaths)
