Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has addressed residents on the country's new normal as it continues to battle a massive surge in COVID-19 cases. It reported more than 3,500 new cases on Friday, the highest since the pandemic began. It is also the fourth straight day that the island-state has recorded over 3,000 cases. This comes even as Singapore plans to widen its quarantine-free travel program to South Korea by November 15 and to fully vaccinated travelers from the U.S. by the end of the year. CGTN’s reporter Miro Lu reports.
