Insights into China's space program

It's been a busy year for China's space program as it made giant leaps in lunar exploration and construction of its space station, and more is likely to come before the year's end. What else is part of China's space program? Will space become the new frontier of geo-political competition or even rivalry?

To review China's efforts this year in space and get a glimpse of what may still come in the future, we've invited Zhang Fan, associate professor of astronomy at Beijing Normal University; Prof. Ulrich Walter from the Institute of Astronautics at the Technical University of Munich; and Prof Bernard Foing, director of the International Lunar Exploration Working Group EuroMoonMars Earth Space Innovation.
