China's latest Twin-Tailed Scorpion-A drone recently debuted at Airshow China 2021 in south China's Zhuhai. Independently developed in China, by Sichuan Tengdun Technology Co., Ltd., it is the world's first large-size three-engine high-end drone system. It has a wingspan of 20 meters and can fly up to 10,000 meters for 36 hours and 7,000 kilometers. The drone has a unique aerodynamic design which optimizes its performances and enhances load-bearing capability. With the ability to carry multiple pieces of equipment, besides the military applications, it can also be used in such civil fields as rescue operations, supplies delivery, geologic prospecting and meteorological observation.
