Fuhai County of Altay is located along the ancient Silk Road in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, where the Kazakh herdsmen have a tradition of raising camels. The county has taken full advantage of its camel breeding industry to help locals increase their income in recent years. The annual per capita net income of herdsmen has currently reached more than 30,000 yuan (about $4,339).
CGTN Digital reporter Saina visits a herdsman's family to experience how they take camels to graze and drink water? How to milk camels and filter the fresh camel milk? And how the camel breeding industry helps improve local people's life.
