CGTN

China firmly opposes and rejects comments made by several special procedure mandate holders that maliciously denigrated the Hong Kong Special Administration Region (HKSAR) National Security Law and interfered in China's internal affairs, said Liu Yuyin, spokesperson for the Chinese Mission to the United Nations Office at Geneva.

China urges the special procedure mandate holders to perform their duties in an impartial and objective manner, get right international human rights law, and respect the sovereignty of member states, their national conditions and the development path they have chosen independently, said Liu.
