Urumqi, the capital of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, reported one asymptomatic COVID-19 case during routine testing, local authorities said on Friday.
The asymptomatic patient was transferred to a designated hospital for quarantine and medical observation. All close contacts are in quarantine.
