A day after the catastrophe in Kaohsiung in China's Taiwan killed 46 people, prosecutors filed a motion on Friday with a local court to detain a woman suspected of improperly using fire in the apartment.

The prosecutor initially determined that the fire was started from the suite where the woman was in, but the substance or cause of the fire is still under investigation.
