Over 100 nations have pledged to promote ecological conservation at the COP15 meeting in China's southwestern city of Kunming. Leaders backed the Kunming Declaration, which aims to put biodiversity on a path to recovery by the end of the decade. Chinese President Xi Jinping pledged 1.5 billion yuan ($230 million) to support biodiversity protection in developing countries. CGTN’s reporter Tao Yuan has more.
