Eleven students have drowned and two others were injured in a trekking accident in the Indonesian province of West Java.
Some 150 members of an Islamic Scouts group, aged from 13 to 15, were walking along the Cileuleur river when 21 are thought to have attempted to ford the current, according to local media.
A rescue official told the AFP news agency that the injured youths are presently in hospital in critical condition.
