Photos show a red deer stag during the rutting season in Bushy Park, Richmond, south west London, which is home to over 300 red and fallow deer. During the deer 'rut' in the autumn the red stags and fallow bucks compete by roaring, barking and clashing antlers in an attempt to fight off rivals and attract as many females as possible.
