Huge stones sit along with the grassland in a national geological park in Jeminay County, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. For millions of years, many of the granite withered by the wind have developed peculiar shapes. Some of them resemble a pangolin, a tortoise, elephants, or even humans. The scenic area also holds the first Paleolithic site in Xinjiang, dating back to 45,000 years ago.
