The ancient city of Kashgar, well protected under a government-sponsored renovation project in 2010, is considered the center of the main city in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. With mesmerizing culture and distinctive architectural styles, it attracts millions of visitors every year. Local's living conditions in Kashgar have also been greatly improved over the past few years.
