A lifeline amid restoration of abandoned mine
CGTN

Taizhou, a historic city in east China's Zhejiang Province, has been restoring its abandoned mines for years. On October 18, workers planted trees on mine land, fulfilling the concept that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets." Fruit trees such as flat peach and waxberry are planted so that locals can gain income after the ecological restoration.
