China has released figures on the performance of its agricultural sector and rural economy. The numbers focused on the first nine months of the year. The total output of summer grain and early rice reached over 173 million tons, 2.2 percent higher than 2020 and foreign agricultural trade totaled at about $225 billion, nearly 26 percent growth.
