China to review draft law to curb telecom and online fraud

China's legislature will review a draft law targeting telecom and online fraud submitted this week, to fight against offenses and protect people's rights. That comes after President Xi Jinping called for a sweeping crackdown on this type of fraud at all levels earlier this year, from prevention to regulation and control.
