Southwest China's Chongqing Municipality is a city with intricate roads. It is also a city that can surprise and overturn perceptions.
Often considered the world's largest mountain city, escalators, ferries, cableways and light rails are more popular forms of daily transport than bicycles. Like something out of a sci-fi movie, light rail Line 2, which runs through a 19-story residential building, is one of the most impressive in China.
