Gas explosion reported at restaurant in NE China's Shenyang

A person has been killed and 33 others injured in a gas explosion at a restaurant in Shenyang, northeast China's Liaoning Province, on Thursday, local authorities said.

All the injured have been hospitalized.

Officials are investigating the cause of the blast, which happened at around 8:20 a.m.
