Britain and New Zealand have reached a new free-trade deal. The agreement is designed to reduce tariffs on nearly all products between the two countries. Last year, UK-New Zealand trade was worth over $3 billion. The deal comes after 16 months of talks, and was heavily criticized by Britain's opposing Labour Party. Experts say the deal brings London closer to signing a broader trans-Pacific trade pact.
