Analyst: China's strong control over pandemic brought stamina to country's exports and economy

China's currency and cross-border capital flows remain stable. Data from the State Administration of Foreign Exchange on Friday shows that banks in China settled nearly 1.86 trillion U.S. dollars and sold about 1.68 trillion U.S. dollars in the first three quarters of the year. It reported a surplus of 180 billion dollars. The regulator says market expectations are conducive to maintaining a stable yuan, adding that the ability of the Chinese foreign exchange market to tackle risks has increased. Chen Jiahe, Chief Investment Officer of Novem Arcae Technologies, joined us via Skype from Beijing, talking about China's continued economic recovery. Chen said that China's strong control over the pandemic brought stamina to the country's exports and economy.
