A magnitude-4.9 earthquake jolted the waters off Hualien County in eastern Taiwan at 11:16 a.m. on Saturday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was recorded at a depth of 10 kilometers, CENC added.
No casualties have been reported thus far.
