Xinjiang refutes 'forced labor' claims, says U.S. is real perpetrator

The government of China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region held a press conference on Friday in response to claims by some in the U.S. of "forced labor" in the region. Officials at the press conference cited statistics in the last five years, noting that cases of forced labor and human trafficking were reported in all 50 U.S. states as well as Washington, D.C. The anti-China forces have been singularly targeting on Xinjiang while forgetting the real abuses that exist in the U.S., said Xu Guixiang, spokesperson for the autonomous region's government.
