Shibati, or "Eighteen Steps," gets its name from the 18-step distance between a well and a residential area dating back to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality. This traditional old street built close to the mountain goes up along the old stone steps. The area shows the most authentic lifestyle of old Chongqing, from amazing museums to delicious snacks. Our media challenger Merna takes you on a tour.
