China launched a remote sensing satellite from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China on Wednesday.
The Jilin-1 Gaofen 02F satellite was launched by a Kuaizhou-1A, or KZ-1A, carrier rocket at 2:19 p.m. local time and entered a preset orbit.
It is the 12th flight mission for KZ-1A carrier rockets.
