China Energy Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (Energy China Group) recently held an open day at the Umm Al Quwain independent water 150MIGD project in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), showcasing the company's advanced technology.

The key project under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative and the UAE Water Security Strategy 2036 aims to provide sustainable access to water.

Officials say it sets an example of multilateral cooperation between China, Saudi Arabia, France, the UAE and Germany in technology, finance and construction.
