New Zealand is easing border quarantine requirements. The changes will make it easier for citizens to return to the country, but health officials gave no date for re-opening international tourism. From next month, most people arriving in the country would need to spend seven days in a quarantine hotel – down from 14 days.

New Zealand has had some of the toughest entry restrictions globally, leading to an outcry and even legal action from people trying to get home.
