A recent survey in the Indian capital Delhi has found that over 90 percent of those involved have developed antibodies against COVID-19. The sixth and latest sero-survey shows a nearly 40 percent jump compared to the previous survey conducted in January of this year.

India was at the epicenter of the lethal delta variant earlier this year. The country recorded more than 16,000 new cases and 700 deaths in the last 24 hours for a total of over 32.2 million infections.
