Bamiyan province located in the central highlands known as Hazaristanin in Afghanistan has been inhabited since the third century. It was once a hub of tourism, but with continuing civil wars, insurgency and foreign invasion, the valley was left abandoned. CGTN correspondent Danial Khan traveled to the ancient province and has more in this report.
