Tonga reports first case since the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic

The island nation of Tonga reported its first confirmed COVID-19 case, Tonga's Prime Minister Pohiva Tu'i'onetoa said in a radio address on Saturday.

The confirmed case was among 215 passengers who took a flight from New Zealand's second largest city of Christchurch to Tonga on Wednesday.
