China will continue working with Russia to promote multilateralism, Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi said Saturday while meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

While meeting with his French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian on the sidelines of the Group of 20 Leaders' Summit, Wang praised the substantive discussions between the two countries during the United Nations biodiversity conference, which recently ended in China.
