Expert talks about the reason Japan's LDP has been in power almost continuously since 1955

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida's ruling party, the Liberal Democratic Party, will stay in power. Preliminary election results show the LDP along with its coalition partner Komeito have won a "stable majority". The LDP has been in power almost continuously since the 1950s. Benoit Hardy-Chartrand, an adjunct professor of Political Science and International Affairs at Temple University Japan, talks about the reasons.
