Four local COVID-19 cases were detected in Ejin Banner of Alxa League in north China's Inner Mongolia between Sunday night and Monday morning, taking the overall tally in the county to 149.

Meanwhile, one village in Shijiazhuang, the capital of north China's Hebei Province, was declared as COVID-19 medium–risk from Monday as two confirmed cases were reported. 

Two were also tested positive in Xining City in northwest China's Qinghai Province on Monday.
