Beijing's Chaoyang District said it's assisting COVID-19 epidemiological investigation after two people with positive virus test results have been to two schools in its areas.

One person tested positive for COVID-19 and another one is with a single gene positive result. 

Both of them live in the city's Changping District, where currently a wave of infection is ongoing. 

The two campuses they've been to were put under the control of the health authorities and nucleic acid testing of their faculty, students and related personnel is underway.

According to health experts, further tests are needed to determine whether the person with a single gene positive result is a real virus carrier.
