Chinese President Xi Jinping called on the international community to take concrete action to address climate change and energy issues.

Xi made the remarks while addressing the 16th Group of 20 (G20) Leaders' Summit on October 30-31 via video link in Beijing.

China's cut of carbon emission intensity has greatly exceeded the climate action goals of 2020 in the past 15 years, and China will continue to make positive contributions to the global efforts on addressing climate change and promoting energy transformation, Xi said.
