Zhong Nanshan: China's zero -transmission policy a relatively low-cost approach

China is defending its zero-COVID-19 approach as more countries open borders and loosen restrictions. In an interview with CGTN, China's top epidemiologist Zhong Nanshan said the zero transmission policy is necessary. He said China's "zero -transmission policy" is a relatively low-cost approach compared with the "treatment after infection" practice in some countries.
