The Tomur Grand Canyon is a national geological park located in Wensu County of Aksu Prefecture in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It is a red-layer canyon of grand scale and attractive landscape in the Tianshan Mountains. Inside the canyon, red cliffs, pinnacles and pillars of various shapes can be found everywhere. The process of weathering and erosion has created deep and narrow valleys, giving it a high aesthetic appeal.
