Japan has decided to allow all fully vaccinated foreigners, except for tourists, to enter the country, local media reported on Friday.

According to Japan's Kyodo news agency, the country will resume entry of long-term stayers, including students and technical intern trainees.

The island nation will also shorten the COVID-19 quarantine period for vaccinated overseas business travelers upon their arrival to three days from Monday.
