Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday met national ethical role models and nominees for the awards at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. 

Sixty-eight people were honored as ethical role models. This was the eighth group to receive the honor in the country since 2007.

Another 254 people were honored for nomination.
