The United States has decided to withdraw its non-essential diplomats from Ethiopia as the war between Tigray rebels and the government forces intensifies.

"The Department of State ordered the departure of non-emergency U.S. government employees and their family members from Ethiopia," the State Department said as it issued a new travel advisory on Friday.
