Police officer stabbed in Cannes attack: French Interior Minister

A police officer was wounded in an apparent knife attack in the southern French city of Cannes, while his assailant has been "neutralized", according to Minister of the Interior Gerald Darmanin via Twitter.

Darmanin will visit the scene of the incident later today.
