Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received his first booster dose of the Chinese Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine in Belgrade on Sunday, after which he declared that he felt good and encouraged others to get vaccinated.
President Vucic received his first two doses in April 2021, and to date, approximately 50% of Serbians have been vaccinated.
Serbia has already received several batches of Sinopharm vaccine, and construction has begun on a local plant that will produce Chinese vaccines domestically.
